New Zealand Spelling Bee Teachers' Awards
Four New Zealand Spelling Bee Teacher Awards, each worth $2000, for teachers whose innovative and effective programme or initiative instills a love of language in their students.
The Award also includes a travel and accommodation package so the successful recipient can travel to the 2020 New Zealand Spelling Bee Final to receive their award at a banquet dinner and watch the Spelling Bee Final in Wellington on 1-2 November.
Eligibility
- Full-time or part-time teachers who teach in a New Zealand school (Years 0-13)
- Teachers and their schools do not have to be registered with a New Zealand Spelling Bee programme to apply for the Award
Receipt of all applications by 1 August will be acknowledged by email. Winners will be notified on 31 August. The Judges decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
