Chloe Wright ONZM

chloe wrightChloe Wright, co-founder of the Wright Family Foundation with husband Wayne, is the Patron of Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee.

Chloe and Wayne have spent more than 20 years making a difference in the lives of children building New Zealand’s largest early learning provider, BestStart.

Through the Wright Family Foundation, Chloe supports the educational development of all New Zealanders, unleashing children’s potential.  The Foundation is passionate about raising awareness of the importance of pre-natal health, breastfeeding and the first thousand days of a child’s life.

As Patron of Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee, Chloe's goal is to grow this event to be one of the most highly regarded scholastic events in New Zealand.

“My vision is to create articulate readers and writers who may go on to higher education with confidence. The event has the goal of expanding children’s vocabulary and encouraging a love of language – which is something we are passionate about fostering,” she says.

Chloe co-founded BestStart Educare with husband Wayne Wright.  She has also established the Birthing Centre, and is the founder and architect of Mothers Matter.  Mothers Matter seeks to achieve for women what is rightfully theirs: excellent perinatal care, increased postnatal care and the ongoing support mothers need to thrive after giving birth.

Chloe is also Patron of SuperGrans Aotearoa, WriteMark Plain English Awards Trust, Kids’ Lit Quiz, and Spelling Bee Aotearoa New Zealand.
