2024 Semi-finalist information
CONGRATULATIONS… Your result in the New Zealand Spelling Bee Test means you are among the top 260 Year Nine and Ten spellers around the country who will advance to one of six New Zealand Spelling Bee Semi-finals held around the country in September.
Making it to the next stage of the New Zealand Spelling Bee is a real achievement. It is also an opportunity for you to learn more new words - The 2024 Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee Wordlist which is included here, represent your school and compete for one of 24 places at the 2024 Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee Final in Wellington on Saturday 2 November. Finalists win travel for themselves and their parent/caregiver and one night’s accommodation. The 2024 Spelling Bee Champion wins $5000 and a Spelling Bee Trophy.
